Top 11 Favorite Things 2011

• Movie Azucar Amarga (Bitter Sugar). From -95, but seen in 2011.
• Song I'm gonna have to say Danza Kuduro by Don Omar. I've loved it since the first time I heard it in Mexico in Februari. Even if it's golden days definitely are over, it still was absolutely amazing seeing him perform it live in Guatemala City on the 9th of April.
• Artist Chino & Nacho. Also played at the same concert. (Along with Shakira and other Latin American artists. Epic concert!)
  
• Party The last party of the year was probably also the best. Or my birthday. Or that time when... There are too many! Playa del Carmen is like a big party!
• Book Well, out of the three books that I've read this year two are guidebooks, so... I'll pass on this one.
• Word Hueva. "Que hueva", "Me da hueva", "Tengo hueva". Basically means you're lazy or just can't be bothered with something. Unfortunately very useful.
  
• Decision Buying a one-way ticket to Latin America.
• Food Mexican street food. Hands down. Quesadillas, tostadas, burritos, tacos, tamales, empanadas. You name it, I'll eat it!
• Compliment "Sabes porque eres tan hermosa? Porque estas feliz y se nota"
  
• Quote "Remember happiness is a way of travel, not a destination".
  
• Memory This whole year has been like an amazing memory! I get the feeling that if I before I die would get the opportunity to "re-live" one year of my life I would choose this one. Thank you 2011. It's been nothing less than incredible!
